AI Signal Brief ("we," "us," "our") provides free AI-powered market reports and signals at https://aisignalbrief.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Section 1 Who is the data controller?
AI Signal Brief is operated from the United States. Contact details are in Section 13.
Section 2 Information we collect
A. Information you provide directly
- Email address (and optionally name/username) if you sign up for the daily Market Pulse email brief.
- Support & privacy requests: messages you send via email or our contact form.
B. Information collected automatically
We use GoatCounter for basic, privacy-respecting analytics. GoatCounter collects limited, aggregate data such as page views and referrers. It operates in cookieless mode and does not use tracking cookies, persistent identifiers, or cross-site tracking.
We do not collect government IDs, precise geolocation, biometric data, or sensitive information.
Section 3 How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Send the daily Market Pulse email brief (if you subscribed).
- Respond to support and privacy requests.
- Understand overall site usage (anonymously via GoatCounter) to improve the Service.
- Protect the Service and prevent abuse.
Section 4 Email communications
If you sign up, we send occasional Market Pulse emails with market insights via Resend (our email delivery provider).
Subscriber data is stored in secure systems and may be synchronized to internal systems for email delivery and suppression management.
You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in every email footer or by emailing support@aisignalbrief.com. We retain unsubscribed email addresses on a suppression list to prevent accidental re-mailing.
Section 5 Cookies & similar technologies
- We use no tracking cookies.
- GoatCounter operates in cookieless mode by default — no tracking cookies, localStorage, or persistent identifiers are used for analytics.
- Your browser may still receive strictly necessary technical data from our hosting provider (e.g., Netlify) for security and performance purposes.
Section 6 How we share information
We do not sell or share personal information.
We only disclose information to service providers that help us operate the Service:
- Resend — email delivery
- GoatCounter — anonymous analytics
- Netlify — hosting, performance, and security logs
These providers process data only on our behalf and under contractual safeguards.
We may also disclose information if required by law or in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition).
Section 7 International transfers
If you are located in the EU or UK, your information may be processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
Section 8 Data retention
- Subscriber data: retained until you unsubscribe.
- Suppression list: retained indefinitely to prevent re-mailing.
- Analytics data: retained according to GoatCounter's default retention settings (typically short-term aggregated data).
- Deletion requests: processed within a reasonable period, typically within 90 days unless legal retention is required.
Section 9 Security
We use TLS encryption, secure infrastructure, and trusted service providers. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and will notify affected users of data breaches as required by law.
